This was my first solo exhibition, and I chose these photographs to create a celebration of light and colour.

It was an exciting and exhausting experience and involved several supportive and patient friends to whom I am indebted for getting me 'off the starting blocks'. I'm looking forward to the next chance! I am grateful too for the opportunity provided by the Two Small Rooms gallery.

"Coping Stones" went on to win the 2003 Photography prize at the Annual Open Competition run by An Tuireann Arts Centre.
